"how does soap work to eliminate dirt"

School started.
This was my first homework assignment.

soap captures dirt and rinses away with water, leaving behind 'no dirt'.

it doesn't eliminate it, i don't think.

it also helps to use hot water when combating dirt or 'germs' on surface of things. the heat breaks down the particles, maybe. cold water like 'divides' things.
